However, before you can begin to make money blogging for beginners you need to find out what you’re looking for. If you are going to become a blogger then you need to be flexible and willing to learn new things.
The good news is there are many ways to earn money blogging for beginners. Some people think all blogging is done in WordPress. This is not true. There are a lot of options that you can use to make money blogging for beginners.
A good place to start is with Blogger. Many bloggers have very high traffic numbers that come from doing really well with their Blogger blog. When you decide to become a blogger, make sure you check out the Blogger price plans.
A lot of people ask me why I still use Blogger. The answer is I can make money blogging for beginners for free on Blogger.com. I chose to use the Starter Plan for $5 per month for now.
Another option is WordPress. There are quite a few companies offering WordPress products. I really love this option. It has many additional features that will help you become a successful blogger.
If you decide to use WordPress, you might have to spend $200 to become a Premium member. You will be able to add features to your blog that you can’t add to a Blogger blog.
Another option is Squarespace. This is a completely different way of blogging for beginners. Many people find this option better than WordPress. They say that it’s more polished than Blogger and more responsive than WordPress.
Squarespace offers everything you need to get started including a free trial. You get access to a high-quality theme and can work out the pricing after that.
There is also a new option called Weebly. I have used this as well. You can use the Website Builder and publish your blog posts easily. When you publish a post it shows up immediately in your dashboard.
This option does require a paid subscription and there is a free plan available. I don’t know how much it costs to use but I have heard that you can try it for 7 days for free.
Ecommerce
Ecommerce is another option you can consider when you decide to become a successful blogger for beginners. This is a great way to make money blogging for beginners if you know what you’re doing.
Ecommerce is a great way to make money blogging for beginners. Many people are making over $10,000 per month in ecommerce sales. If you are looking to make money blogging for beginners you might want to consider starting an ecommerce store.
There are so many ecommerce tools out there that you could decide to build your own ecommerce platform. There are a lot of great ecommerce companies that are dedicated to providing WordPress plugins.
You will need to decide if you want to stick with something that is already out there or if you want to develop your own ecommerce platform.
If you want to make money blogging for beginners by creating your own eCommerce platform then there are a few options that you should consider.
You could build your own eCommerce platform like BigCommerce. This option could be quite a challenge and you’ll need to spend a lot of money.
Another option is Commerce Cloud. You can choose this option if you are looking for a good solution for $99 per month.
There are a lot of other eCommerce solutions that you can consider. Here are some of the top choices.
I created my own eCommerce website using Shopify. It is quite expensive but has a lot of features that are hard to find on other eCommerce platforms.
Social Media
If you want to make money blogging for beginners then you need to know that many people make a lot of money on Social Media. Many people use Twitter and Facebook to make money blogging for beginners.
You should research each platform in your niche and find one that you are comfortable with.
There are a lot of great options out there including:
Of course, there are also a lot of options that are just plain dumb and should never be used for a profit blog. I created my own Dental Tourism Blog using only the two things above. Here is a screenshot of what the blog looks like now.
The important thing is that you are starting out making money blogging for beginners in a safe and secure way.
Budget
Starting a blog can be a lot of fun but you need to make sure that you can actually afford to make money blogging for beginners.
You need to find out how much you need to make in order to cover your living expenses. That means food, rent, utilities, insurance, and more.
After you find out how much you need to make to cover these expenses, you will need to add in some side hustle income. This could be something like selling something online. It could also be getting a second job in some other area.
Once you are happy with your budget you should start saving and investing.
Building Your Blogging Business
Blogging for beginners’ income can come in all different shapes and sizes.
You can make money by creating content that people want to read. You can make money by adding advertisements to your site.
Another way that you can make money blogging for beginners is by developing an ecommerce platform.
As you can see above I am developing an ecommerce platform for new parents.
I created my own ecommerce platform because I felt that I would be able to make the most money blogging for beginners with the ability to sell some products.
Of course, there are a ton of other options available for you to consider. Here are some of the more popular options.
1. Big Commerce
Big Commerce is an ecommerce solution that is suitable for both beginners and experienced bloggers.
You can get the entire site up and running in a matter of minutes. As a bonus, you can set up a store on Big Commerce for less than half of what you would pay on another ecommerce platform.
BigCommerce has a ton of customer support options for you including live chat and telephone support.
If you want to take it even further BigCommerce has a few affiliate programs that you can work with to make even more money from your blog.
2. Envato
Envato is a different kind of ecommerce solution that allows you to sell virtually anything that you can imagine.
One of the reasons that I chose to sell my products on Envato is because of their pricing structure. Their pricing structure is great for someone just starting.
Unlike most ecommerce solutions they offer a monthly plan that is less than what it costs to start a store on BigCommerce.
They also offer a 7-day money-back guarantee and a 100% financing option.
3. Sellify
Sellify is a rather unique solution when it comes to eCommerce solutions.
The reason that I like Sellify is that they are so flexible. They allow you to create stores in a variety of different categories.
They also have very reasonable pricing.
In my case, I was able to start my online store for $149.
Sellify also offers a great deal of customer support.
If you want to learn more about Sellify I highly recommend checking out their website.
4. WooCommerce
WooCommerce is a more traditional ecommerce solution.
This one is a little less flexible but they are generally able to get you running in a couple of minutes.
WooCommerce also allows you to sell a variety of different products. In my case, I decided to start selling baby products on my WooCommerce store.
If you want to check out my WooCommerce store I would suggest checking out the testimonial section.
5. AWeber
AWeber is the backbone of many successful blogs.
As an affiliate marketer, I’ve found that I have a lot of success using AWeber.
AWeber has two different types of plans. The basic one is more than enough for a new blogger to get their store up and running.
The second is a pretty good option if you are interested in getting into affiliate marketing.
6. Build an Inbox
This one is something that you could do either way.
You can try out email marketing if you are feeling adventurous. Or you could just go ahead and start your blog using a template that you have already created.
Of course, if you are feeling particularly lazy you can just go ahead and use a free tool to help get your store up and running.
7. Liquid Web
Liquid Web is one of the biggest, most well-known solutions for eCommerce websites.
It is easy to get started with Liquid Web.
You can get your store up and running in less than 10 minutes.
You have a ton of customer support available for you.
Liquid Web also offers an awesome monthly plan.
8. StoreXchange
StoreXchange is another one of the big players in eCommerce solutions.
For example, if you sign up for the storeXchange program, you can easily sell your products on eBay.
The one downside with StoreXchange is that they only allow you to sell products made by Amazon.
You have the option of choosing Shopify or BigCommerce as a software solution.
Shopify and BigCommerce can help you sell products on other online stores as well.
If you are new to eCommerce you are probably wondering whether you should sell your products on other eCommerce platforms.
In most cases, this is a smart decision. If you do this, you can reach a much broader audience.
This also makes you more likely to succeed with your website.
Just be careful that you don’t give away too much of your website’s valuable information by listing your store on other platforms.
Final Thoughts
No matter which ecommerce solution you choose, the one thing that should be pretty clear is that you should do your best to have one that offers good customer service.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to have amazing customer service.
This is especially true if you are selling a product that people aren’t familiar with.
This is a big risk. So make sure to hire the right people.
